The Isle of Man Steam Packet Company is supporting a mountain climbing bid which will raise money for two local charities.
A team of six Isle of Man Constabulary officers plan to ascend Mount Kilimanjaro in Tanzania - Africa’s highest point at 5,895 metres - during a 10-day expedition in September. Carl Woods, David Baker, Kelly Wilkinson, Darren Gorry, Graham Corran and Quentin De Backer are undertaking the challenge to raise funds for Manx Miracles and Tabitha’s Trust.

Tickets are on sale now for Ben-my-Chree’s round-the-Island cruise, which is scheduled for Saturday, 23rd May.
The vessel will depart Douglas at 7pm for a cruise lasting around four hours which will offer passengers spectacular views of the Manx coastline.

A special band concert is being staged on Tuesday, May 12th to raise funds for an Isle of Man County Royal British Legion visit to Turkey to mark the centenary of the Gallipoli campaign during World War I.
The Legion’s Dave Llewellyn is travelling to Gallipoli to attend a ceremony at the Cape Helles Memorial on April 25th and will lay wreaths and crosses at six other memorials and cemeteries. Mr Llewellyn is driving a van to Turkey to carry the wreaths and crosses and the Isle of Man Steam Packet Company is proud to support his journey by covering travel costs between the Isle of Man and England.

The Steam Packet Company is supporting members of the Isle of Man Sub Aqua Club who are tackling a charity cycle ride from John O’Groats to Land’s End.
The Isle of Man Steam Packet Company has agreed a priority booking scheme for TT marshals.
The Company has teamed up with the TT Marshals Association to give priority for TT2016 to those marshals who attended five or more practice or race sessions during TT2014.
